The Affordable Housing Commons Workshop is a hands-on, collaborative working session for housing professionals and Salesforce practitioners in the UK. Think of it less like a conference and more like a build day: you show up, join a project team, and leave having actually contributed something real.
This is a focused event, bringing together housing associations, sector experts, and Salesforce practitioners to work on the Affordable Housing Accelerator, which we'll officially launch at Housing Day the following day.
We currently have the following projects being worked on:
* Easy Repair Locator - helping residents find the right repair resource fast, via an LWC-powered component
* Switchee IoT Integration - surfacing real-time smart home sensor data inside Salesforce
* Email to Record — automating document extraction and record creation from inbound emails using Data Cloud
* Case Candy (Portal Case View) - improving the resident-facing case experience with polished UI components
* Offline Boiler Check (SFS) - enabling field engineers to complete gas safety checks without connectivity
* Housing Geo Map — visualising property and asset data geographically within Salesforce
* SLA Tracker - tracking and managing service level commitments for repairs and complaints
* Future Projects — Awaab's Law 2, STAIRS & more
No prior experience required. Whether you're an admin, developer, PM or SME on housing operations, there's a place for you here.

You'll collaborate on projects designed for the housing sector, contribute your expertise to community-driven solutions, and help build tools that housing associations can use every day.

This workshop brings together housing professionals, Salesforce practitioners, and community contributors who are close to the challenges facing affordable housing in the UK.

No worries at all. Come ready to contribute what you know, and you'll fit right in.
You'll be added to a dedicated Slack channel for registered attendees only. It's your home base for the agenda, venue details, updates, and connecting with fellow Sprinters before you even arrive.
We'll host a Know Before You Go (KBYG) about a week out from the Sprint. A short, friendly walkthrough of what to expect and how to hit the ground running.
Sprints are made for connection. The community that shows up here is warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to meet you. Many Sprinters leave with friendships and working relationships that last for years.
