Co-hosted by Salesforce and the United Nations Secretariat (UN Youth Office, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, United Nations Office of Information and Communications Technology, and Digital Public Goods Alliance)
Reboot The Earth is a social coding event that brings a diverse group together to improve upon or build technology solutions that address the current climate crisis. This year's focus will be on the United Nations’ climate focused Sustainable Development Goals, and take place around the globe in the months of May and June 2024.
At this event in New York City, the Salesforce Trailblazer community will join forces with students, climate experts, and the open source community at large. Over the course of two days and through a series of tech challenges, innovators will be presented with the opportunity to use open data, AI, Salesforce tools, and various technology to build solutions that can become a digital public good that can solve a local climate crisis unique to their community needs, and be used by others.
Participants will benefit from dedicated support from mentors and partners, aimed at refining and enhancing their prototypes. The event will end with an award ceremony on the final day, recognizing and celebrating the achievements of the participants. Additional prize information can be found in the FAQ.
Reboot the Earth is committed to hosting a diverse and inclusive event. As inheritors of our planet, we especially want to involve members of the youth community and those with an interest in building technology that can advance the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
