Check-in

Meet at Harry Bridges Plaza (the island right in front of the main steps) at the Ferry Building on Embarcadero between 6:00am-6:20am for check-in

6:25 Am

We will meet on the island dividing the Embarcadero before crossing the street for the pre-run photo on the steps.

6:30 Am

Start Time

We will start on time and finish on the sidewalk in front of the Ferry Building stairs as we have every year. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to only bring what is necessary for you to enjoy your run/walk and leave bags at your hotel if at all possible. All participants are responsible for their belongings.

FAQs

Where will I be running?

Start and finish in front of the central steps of the Ferry Building with an out and back around the Oracle Park baseball stadium.

When should I arrive and how much time do I have to complete the course?

Check-in starts at 6:00am - 6:20am PT. We will begin promptly at 6:30am PT. This is not timed and very informal.

What is the distance of the course?

You should wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes suitable for running or walking. The Fun Run will take place RAIN or SHINE, so dress for the weather.

Are walkers allowed?

Yes, the Fun Run is an event for all: racers, joggers and walkers.

Is there a space to store my personal belongings?

Please leave bags and personal belongings at your hotel. We do not have the ability to store or monitor personal items. We are in a public space and can be asked to move without notice.
