In this hands-on session, we’re moving past the basics. You’ll learn how to use the Heroku AppLink to connect Salesforce Agentforce to high-performance applications running on Heroku.

In the workshop you will deploy a Java application to Heroku and integrate it with Salesforce using the Heroku AppLink Add-on. Some agentic scenarios we will discuss include:

• The Sustainability Agent: Build a flight carbon footprint calculator using real-time DEFRA factors.
• The Fintech Agent: Process complex finance agreements based on credit profiles and competitor pricing.
• The Logistics Agent: Create a dynamic shipping engine that pulls from external data sources.
• The Creative Agent: Render custom, on-the-fly social cards for marketing campaigns.
